Ghosting is prohibited, personal contact details are withheld, and every step moves forward only with clear, mutual consent. Privacy is protected, and participants enjoy the freedom to opt out without explanation or penalty.

How This Works

Ink Between Us introduces people through letters, not algorithms, and creates space for connection to unfold with care, patience, and consent.

Step 1. You Join First, Pay Later

You complete a thoughtful intake that is read by a real person, not an algorithm. As part of the intake, you may be invited to write a short note. This is a way to show you’re genuinely interested, not the start of correspondence.

Once your intake has been reviewed and approved, payment is collected by PayPal invoice. Learn more aboit how payment works.
Typically, you’ll hear from us shortly after completing your intake.

Step 2. An Introduction Is Offered

When a potential introduction is ready, you receive a brief summary with names, photos, and contact details removed and choose whether to proceed. Introductions are offered within a range of times, not on a fixed schedule. Geography is considered as part of the introduction process, but Ink Between Us does not currently operate with hard geographic boundaries.
You can always say no, without penalty or explanation.

Step 3: Letters Are Exchanged

If both people agree, the connection unfolds through written correspondence, deliberate pacing, and a private P.O. Box.
No photos, no direct contact, no ghosting.

As the human curator of the process, I may read letters as part of facilitating introductions, ensuring consent, and maintaining the integrity of the exchange. Letters are treated with care and discretion and are never shared beyond what the process requires. If you are uncomfortable with a human steward holding this role, Ink Between Us may not be the right fit.

Step 4. Consent Is Reconfirmed

After a few letters are exchanged, both parties decide whether to continue.
Contact details are shared only if both correspondents say yes.

Step 5. You Decide What’s Next

From there, the connection is yours, on your own terms.
Ink Between Us steps back once the introduction is complete.

• You are paying for a human-curated introduction attempt, not a guaranteed outcome.

1: What is an Introduction?

An Introduction is a thoughtful, human-curated attempt to connect you with another participant who appears aligned based on the information you have shared. It involves the time, judgment, and care required to review both parties, establish the connection, and, if accepted, facilitate the initial letter-based exchange. An Introduction is not a guarantee of love, chemistry, or continuation. It is the intentional act of bringing two people together with respect, privacy, and consent at the center.

2: What If I Say No?

Saying no is always allowed and always respected. When you purchase an Introduction, you are paying for a thoughtful, human-curated attempt. If an Introduction is offered and you choose to decline it, that Introduction is considered used. Ink Between Us does not penalize you for declining, but it does not re-run or replace the attempt. The value lies in the care and judgment applied, not the outcome.

3: What Happens If We Both Say Yes?

If both participants accept an Introduction, letters continue to be exchanged through Ink Between Us. After two letter exchanges, both people are asked whether they consent to receive each other’s contact details. Only if both say yes are contact details shared. At that point, Ink Between Us steps aside. If either person does not consent, the Introduction concludes respectfully.

4: Are there bots, fake profiles, or AI personas?

No. Every participant is reviewed and vetted by a real human. Introductions are offered deliberately, not generated automatically.

Ink Between Us does not guarantee love, chemistry, compatibility, or continuation.

It does not promise speed, frequency, or a specific number of introductions within a given time frame.

It does not guarantee that every introduction will feel right or lead anywhere further. (We do our best, always. We take your trust seriously.)

It does not replace personal discernment, emotional readiness, or clear communication.

Ink Between Us guarantees only a thoughtful, human-curated attempt made with care, privacy, and consent.

Code of Conduct

Ink Between Us is built on mutual respect, consent, and good faith participation. All participants agree to engage honestly, communicate thoughtfully, and treat one another with care throughout the process.

Harassment, coercion, manipulation, explicit sexual content, or pressure of any kind is not permitted. Ghosting is prohibited; participants are expected to communicate clearly if they wish to pause or end an exchange.

Ink Between Us reserves the right to pause or end an introduction, or remove a participant from the service, if these standards are not met.

Refund and No-Match Policy

Ink Between Us offers introductions, not outcomes. Because each Introduction involves real human time, judgment, and care, fees are non-refundable once an Introduction has been offered, whether it is accepted or declined. A lack of chemistry, continuation, or mutual consent does not constitute a failure of service.

If Ink Between Us is unable to offer an Introduction within the stated time frame, a refund may be issued at our discretion. This policy exists to set clear expectations while honoring the labor and integrity of the process.
